I just don't understand why launching the new edition, aren't all readers the same regardless of their background. There is one unique US Cosmopolitan, that, IMO, is universal for all the women (and men) in the USA. First I thought it was some kind of a parody, but I double checked it on the internet.

It's an easy way to make money and, in some ways, I think it's a good idea. I imagine it looks strange to someone who doesn't live in the US, but I think the magazine could be helpful. It can focus on content that's engineered towards a specific demographic (Latinas) rather than just generalized. Of course that doesn't mean anyone from any background can't enjoy the regular edition of Cosmo and I'm sure many of the people Cosmopolitan for Latinas is targeting will stick with the regular version, but I just don't see having the option as a bad thing. Magazines like Ebony, Latina, Out, The Advocate, etc. are helpful and appeal to specific demographics. I see it as undeniable that many of the "regular" or "mainstream" magazines like Vogue, Vanity Fair, Martha Stewart Living (lol), etc. are actually pretty much targeted at white, middle-class American women. More options isn't a bad thing, imo.

^ If this isn't a fake cover, then bye bye Cosmopolitan!

UK Cosmopolitan June 2012 - Mollie King & Rochelle Wiseman

Daily Mail.

Well, that's a new low I'm sure.

^ It's not a very good month for UK magazines is it?

Cosmopolitan UK reminds me of Glamour with liberated text. lol

Who are those two? Fonts are okay, but their pose is bad (same as Holly W. and Fearne Cotton's cover). Cosmo UK is so bad for quite a long time.

They're in a z-list girlband called The Saturday's. They've never had a number one, their last album didn't even break the top 30... and yet still between them they land the covers of Cosmopolitan and Glamour. All due to their stylist I imagine - he's the fashion director of Attitude. It's as if he's clinging onto ever favour possible.
