That's a nice shot of Nicole - it's tasteful for Cosmopolitan, despite the cover design being the typical riot of text.

Out of the big selling mainstream monthlies (Glamour, MarieClaire, Company, Red, Cosmo) i think Cosmo looks great. Its got newstand standout.

I really couldn't disagree more. I think generally it's awful. This cover is nice simply because Nicole actually (for once) doesn't look over done, over groomed, over made up... she looks nice, and as naturally beautiful as she is.

Wow... I interned at Cosmo this summer and saw the line-up of 5 cover shots they were considering. This Katy Perry shot was not one of them, but there was one of her in that dress (Zac Posen, I think?!). All of them were stiff, and this picture isn't much better. They need a revamp and stat.
