I'm not sure what to think about that UK Cosmo cover! According to Wikipedia she's a few months younger than me, but I never would have guessed that we were born in the same year!

I find it amazing that French & German Cosmo seem to have lots of local editorial clout - the editors seem to be able to choose which model/celeb to put on the cover, unlike many other editions where the cover is chosen my Cosmo US (like in Australia for instance). Both these editions seem to have more independence than other editions - wonder why this is?

I don't believe US Cosmo chooses covers for international editions, they just have to approve them. Cosmo in Hong Kong never ever reprints. Philippines as well, they do it rarely.

Nova (the Brazilian version of Cosmo) rarely does US Cosmo cover reprints. I believe it's once every two years and a half, if not longer.
