Tyra Banks graces the issue of the December 2012 cover of Cosmopolitan South Africa. In the cover story Banks delivers a special message to her COSMO SA fans, then talks about using her TV shows to empower other ‘flawsome’ women.

Highlights from the interview:

On what makes her succeed:
“Drive. Some people are born with it. Sometimes circumstances push one towards success.”

On if she misses anything about modeling:
“I don’t, because of America’s Next Top Model. Towards the end of my modeling career, I wanted to be working on the set of my own TV show. I have loved conceptualizing shoots and editing film since then.”

On completing her executive-management program at Harvard:
“It changed my life. It was intense, studying in my pajamas with my roommates. It was mandatory to stay on dorms, sharing living quarters. Of 180 classmates, only 18 were women.”

Supermodel Tyra Banks is having a great week so far. She appeared on the Wendy Williams show where she cleared up rumors that she was dating her castmate hottie,talked about graduating from Harvard and now she is gracing the cover of the South Africa Cosmopolitan magazine’s December 2012 issue.
