That smile on the cover looks super forced and makes her look older when she actually looks much younger in general. Her face in general just looks off.. Like a different colour from the rest of the body. She looks incredible in that red swimsuit though. Killer body and beautiful face.
She seems like a harmless down to earth girl. Her music is teen orientated but the magazine seems to have moved in that direction anyway. It seems to be shifting to fill the gap left by CosmoGirl.
In the past year they have had Dakota Fanning, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Lucy Hale, Taylor Swift, Carly Rae Jepson and Miley Cyrus (March cover btw) on their cover so I guess that is the audience they are after now.
The only way 2013 will bring readers of this magazine "tons of ridiculous fun" is if they make a New Year's resolution to stop reading it, because actually paying any attention to the advice in this publication would see them up to their eyebrows in debt, and ostracised from their workplace for being a single-minded no-mates nutter. But of course, that's nothing that can't be solved by constantly repeating empty mantras about personal motivation, buying more useless stuff, and reading about Justin Bieber.
Thanks blueorchid for the US edition January cover. That cover shot of Carly Rae Jepsen really leaves a few things to be desired...
