I've stopped messing with dyes a long time ago. It just never came out right and I decided that the next time I want to change the color of something, I'd go see a professional

Does anyone know a good brand of Dye I can use to get this orange color on a linen skirt?

Procion dyes are the best for natural fibers

i couldn't put this in the jewelry thread because i did not make it myself...
but i did customise it with some beads and fabric ...

i tied some leather strips through the grommets and added some vintage wooden beads...

beyond happy with these results...

am working on a 'charm' like this to tie onto the floral canvas bag i just got...

I just bought 3 pairs of fake cheap converses, one in pink others in black.

I got a black dylon fabric pen and drew stars all over the pink ones.
I got a bleach pen and wrote all over a black pair (the writing goes white)
I got liliac, pink, and baby blue paint and an old toothbrush and flicked paint all over a black pair.

I got myn from an embroidery and textiles show in harrowgate, so im not sure were else you get one from. Its not a brand name or anything. try ebay. Ill keep an eye out for you

I found this while googling for bleach pens

Instead of buying bleach pens, dip a Q-tip in bleach and apply it to the spot. It worked for me

wow, i caught up with this thread late...

i got this amazing kelly green sweatshirt at h&m in berlin and it's my favorite
but on a plane my ink pen exploded, and i got a small black dot right in the middle!
i was wearing a pin but i decided i wanted something more unique
so i embroidered this bird on the other day.

the black ink dot is the eye.

i call it dragonbird because when i zip up the hood all the way
it kind of looks like a weird dragon



sorry my photoshop color correcting skills apparently suck!

wow. i'm impressed. that is REALLY REALLY nice. i'm jealous. i want a weird dragonbird. heh.
