yeah i know what you meen now every1 has them you want yours to be different. well thats what i thought.

loove the beads softgrey - and I recognise the top you are wearing.

I have never seen a bleach pen either - it sound interesting though.

Love the necklace softgrey! I would never have imagined you wearing an outfit as colorful as the last one :ninja:  looks very nice :flower:

thanks fireatwill! my dragonbird is a pretty good little guy, he keeps me safe :)

softgrey, both the necklace and the vest are so amazing! that's a lovely little outfit you have there.

thanks chris...
i might go to kmart and look for that clorox bleach pen...
the q-tip technique really isn't exact enough...imo...
it's only good for taking out spots...;)

here's the shirt i've been working on to replace the dries one that barney's never delivered...

i tried to show you the bits i cut off...
but i couldn't find all of them...
basically cut off 1/2 the collar and all the buttons an loops...
there were also bows on the sleeves that i cut off...
and i took out the inner facing(?) so it would fall softer...

then i sewed the ribbon inside the collar so that just a bit peeks out when you wear it...
and i added the drawstring to make it blouson...
basically took a hippy shirt and made a peasant blouse...^_^

:woot: Wow!! That's really beautiful... and paired w/ that skirt

thank you fashion york and curious!!...
i've been working on this vest...

which i think i have second thoughts about......
i think i like it better inside out......

i turned it inside out to photograph how much i had taken up...
(i left it in case i ever wanted to take it down)
but then i thought i liked the inside better..
and maybe i should shorten it the other way...
opinions?...

I'm sort of confused

Is the pattern on the inside only on a portion of it? I don't see it on the inside of the back of the first pic...

The pattern looks nice, but I can't really get a feel for how it looks as a whole.

soft, i love the peasant blouse with the black skirt...i think that outfit is beautiful.

and i think i like the vest all black better than with the white...it seems more cohesive to me, or something.

either way, both pieces are great!

How much of a challenge would it be to make it reversible? At all possible while still keeping the length?

the inside of the vest is like a stiff muslin or linen..(so beige and raw)...
and the blk stitching is very haphazard because it is the back side of where all the embroidery and sequins are on the front...
here's a pic of it inside out...

but you have to imagine that the bottom part is flipped the other way...
because right now it's sewn down tightly...
so i can't show it to you... ;) :flower:

Well, I can see making it reversible would be VERY ambitious!! It didn't occur to me that the inside pattern was b/c of the embroidery and beading:hardhead: A bit slow today...

Anyhow... I like them both, which isn't very helpful at all

I think they're quite different, though. The black side is more glamorous where the inside of it has more of a natural, as you say raw, vibe, so I guess it depends on what you're going for. Nice to have that problem, though, of "which fabulous side of this do I want to show?"

thanks francesca, curious and fireatwill...

hmmm...
i guess i will have to stew on this one for a bit..
i might try to make it reversible...
i'll see if i can figure it out...

:flower:

nicely done soft!!! I like the vest both ways....thinking it depends on what the rest of the outfit looks like. Loving what you did with the shirt as well.....feeling like I've been incredibly lazy as of late....

thanks chris...
sort of hoping you can help with somehow making the vest reversible...
i have an idea though...we'll see...

i just had all this pent-up energy that all came out in a burst...
trying to see how much i can get done before i fade...
