D la Repubblica ‘DStyle’ Autumn/Winter 2024 : Raquel Zimmermann by Mark Kean

I love Raquel and she is an incredible model, but I HATE all of her covers (including Vogue Italia by Meisel).

In terms of beauty styling, Raquel has pretty much looked the same in nearly every shoot I've seen in the past while.

It's probably great if you're a fan, but if you're not as enthusiastic, it's not giving you much reason to reconsider.

love it, love the 70's feel about it....
Let's hope inside is good and long...

Only a couple of shots are ok...but its kinda flat in terms of direction,editing,styling...sometimes i guess when these teams have top models like Raquel they rely on their abilities and don't ask or push for more or to have a great concept that goes along...hair and makeup is lame,i blame the team more than Raquel....

Love "Adamat" by Kean. From the styling to the colors, this is one of my new favorite fashion editorials. Raquel looks amazing in it.

The issue is basically the same only the fashion section is longer than other issues but nothing relevant to be different.Inside there is an article regarding the new D biannual special edition.
Here, some hightlights:
- On sale from november 12th worldwide (bookstores and newsstands)
- 460 pages (300 will be editorials)
- Some editorials will be published in advance cause some are from the upcoming issues of D
- They describe the paper quality as "super high quality" (let's wait and see)
- It's all fall winter 2024 collections...
- It will have a different format, like coffee table book (i assume it will be like their big format)
- It will be entirely in english
- Some articles will be include to explain their point of view and also some interviews...

You just cannot go wrong with Raquel Zimmermann. You could never make me dislike the sight of her! What a force. What a beauty. What a face. Absolutely loving this. The lighting from Mark Kean here is delightful, always down for these type of studio photoshoots with a strong model like Raquel.

Mark Kean is a good photographer. Raquel looks different here. It's cool to see this magazine becoming a hub for young and veteran bluechip talents, and good choice whoever that brought Thomas Persson on board.
