D la Repubblica ‘The Fashion Issue’ Volume #1 F/W 2025.26 : Libby Taverner by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin

That list looks great, some interesting names / combos, some stories that could be really exciting but wait and see (and hope this doesn't fall flat once I have my eyes on it, hope it means great visual moments and not just name dropping).

It’s crazy how even the worst cover of D are better than any Vogue cover of every edition… and coming from Farneti is even more absurd!

Inez and Vinodh editorial looks like a bad copy if 80s mediocrity. They will ruin this magazine too. They kicked them out of V magazine because they make everything cheap.

I like the ed a LOT! Once again, MAS has showed that she is an exceptional stylist, especially when it comes to layering/combining pieces from different brands.

(And I think it's safe to say that she is the only one who can make that God-awful Louis Vuitton collection - okay, relatively! - presentable.)

I don't like it. The styling would be good without the hideous shoes. I&V should take break or just retire completely. This is so amateur looking and badly retouched.

I like the cover story by Inez and Vinoodh. It is giving me major autumn vibes through the styling, makeup, and mood. Model Libby Taverner is striking and beautiful. And I agree with @Zorka , Sauvé is an "exceptional stylist." The way she mixes textures and colors is incredible.

The printing is not helping but looks better than digital…if they release their biannual must look better cause the paper qualify is higher..
Yes, the printing will be better in the biannual. Regardless, it is nice to have the individual issues in the original format. I own a few from the past and I enjoy them even if the paper is not very good. Unfortunately, I do not live in Italy to buy these regularly.

My least favourite of MAS' contributions to D, but it's still pretty good. She captured the more classic Parisian side of the LV collection and Libby looks so beautiful. A bit more variation in terms of image composition would've made the story a bit better (there are too many samey close-ups).
