D La Repubblica Fashion Issue Volume #1 Spring 2025 by Sharna Osborne

Overall, I love this! Some of the covers are better than others, but Guido and Sharna always put out interesting work together

Apart the fact I can't stand Sharna Osborne's lo-fi (low fidelity) photography aesthetic, this ed does literally nothing for me. Plus, I find really insulting calling this mess "The Fashion Issue" because there is no fashion whatsoever. (The two other - Accessories/Jewelry and Beauty - eds are equally short and uneventful.)

I will take it TBH, it’s glam and enough for me. They recreated the 80s looks successfully. And Guido is a hairstylist so i give him the pass for focusing mostly on the beauty/hair in the ed

It's one of those rare occasions when Osborne's photography works. It's very good.
I am happy it's not Carlijn and her AI looking images.

It's a great main edit and ironically those absolutely stunning pictures of Hejia and Maty are superior to the covers of the other girls, at least for me.

However, as others have said, I'm quite disappointed by the fact that content that would be better put to use in a beauty issue appears in one of their fashion issues, not to mention how short the edit is. Bazaar France did the same thing last September by using their biggest fashion issue to publish a beauty edit, although at least that was a bit longer.

I will wait and see what the next two (three) issues have to offer now in the hope that there's some stronger fashion focused imagery.

I hate that too...at least they could have combine the beauty with some fashion shoots with this 80's style to do it longer and stronger...

Same problem with D the other eds are not on the same level....

There are one interview to Muse magazine founder and one article on Italians independent magazines...

Still not enough to call the Fashion issue...at this point its better the biannual edition that at least is more cohesive...

Love this! Everyone ate, except Penelope... I am not a fan and she's a fellow green eyed German oops.
