As she got the possibility to take part in Pirelli 2006 casting, 16 years old Dace Burkevica now has immense popularity, but also chance to become one of Latvia's newiest millionaires. Despite of her success and many covers of world popuar magazines Dace is 10 Form schoolgirl after whom boys dont run.
Models carrier Dace B. started accidentely. One day she was noticed on the street by Nils Raumanis ''Dandy'' director and offered her to take part in some castings. Before that Dace three years played basketball and before that she had never thought of becoming a model. As basketball has became too boring for her and many times she had twisted her ankle she decided to take part in model buisness. Although Dace isnt from that type of girls who like to show off her beauty for success she didnt need to wait long. Dace recently became 16 years old, but already world wants her. 5 times she has been to Milan for photo session, also for luxuries fashion shows in NY. ''It turns out that everything that is popular abroad in Latvia isnt wanted or understood. There is the difference - Latvia doesnt understand what world wants,'' Dace's luck formula explains Nils. In nearest time she is planing to go to Paris.
Despite of her great successdaily she is a simple girl. About her won in Pirelli casting Dace got to know during her lesson at school when Nils phones her and told the great news. Dace as every teenager visits parties and goes to cafes, but boys arent crazy for her. Dace admits that the most important in her life is the way she displays her pesonality.'' I dont tell everybody that I am a model, because then people have wrong impression about her. Oh, your a model then everything is clear about you.''
Being in spotlight she still is 16 years old girl who doesnt want to become a famous model's girlfriend. When we asked her what boys she likes Dace smiles: '' That her boyfriend needs to be down to earth, but with expressive eyes that could sweep off her feet.''
She already is reserved for Miu Miu and Prada.

I agree. She's pretty in the polas but WOW does she catapult to another level in her eds.
There's something intriguingly plain (my moronic oxymoron of the day for those of you keeping score at home) about her face. I like her.
