wow i got Dance Dance Revolution for my ps2 not that long ago and i can like feel the pounds dropping, plus it's really good cardio. Any one else like the game?

-:woot: - <--- me playing DDR
/ \

Me back in the day, i had it for my ps1, and now i have the mat, but not the game!

i love DDR !!! i actually want to buy one of the big arcade versions, it´s really good exercise too.

I love DDR. Whenever I get a chance to go to an arcade (not often) I go and play a few rounds. It's such a good, fun workout.

I'm trying to get my church to invest in one of the big arcade machines for the high school room.

I love DDR too! I have it for my playstation. Everyone laughs at me but i don't care. It's so much fun to play and a great workout.

My friend recently turned me to it.

At first I was on beginner but it made me feel like an **** when I was learning and people were watching so I forced myself to work on light mode.

I heard the ps2 game is not like the arcade one though? My friend said the song selection is small, but I was thinking like everygame you have to do levels or unlock them somehow, right?

Playstation makes this new game called Kinetic, involving a Camera and pretty much aerobics to go with it. Seems sort of, well its definetly working towards the wrong target group if you ask me.

But DDR is good stuff

omg this sh*t is so haaaarrrrd... i dont know how you guys do it.. and i mean, im not a pro dancer but i can shake my booty to the beat

I usually play on Standard mode, 1.5x. Sometimes, I play on heavy. I play Max1&2, Extreme1&2, and Ultramix.

^ Yes, you need the pad. It usually comes with the game in a set though. It's around $50 US dollars.

My friend said that he lost 15lbs playing this game HAHAA!!!!!

This might sound like a fad to some people but you really do lose a ton of weight when playing DDR. It's way more effective then regular exercise. My cousin was severely overweight a few years ago and she got a shipment of a DDR pad from Korea (from relatives) and she was instantly hooked. She's almost unrecognizable now.

The game is ridiculously addicting and time flies when you're playing it. It's a great cardio "machine". You honestly couldn't ask for more. I'm going to invest in one in a few days, because it sure as hell beats going to the gym.

woooow this makes me want one! I've tried it at my friend's house, I was so bad, but it really was a workout!

I love DDR :D

Has anyone tried In The Groove? It's just like DDR but mroe advanced. For anyone who's pretty big with DDR I definatly recommend Cobalt Flux DDR pads. We've had Red octane pads too but have had so many problems with them.
