Also, according to Variety, Dan has been cast to star in an Indie film called The Amateur Photographer.
It will be directed by Christopher Monger. Here's a synopsis of the film:

The 1970-set tale follows a young man who discovers his artistic calling after being drafted by the denizens of a sleepy little New England mill town to serve as photographer of their most intimate moments.

Dan also has the All Quiet on the Western Front remake in his lineup, but he's not due to start filming that until 2012.

Here's what Dan said about the film:

"It's one of the great challenges, to get people to buy me as something else."

Radcliffe's character, Arthur Kipps, is "a father and a widower- two things I don't have direct experiece of."

"I would call it a character-driven horror film, along the line of The Orphanage or The Others" said Radcliffe. "It's slow-burning and it's very, very scary."

"It's about loss, family and fear... The overriding sense of death pervades the entire film."
