Hmm... sad to know there is some tension going in the last page of this thread. I guess we'll just have to see more interesting work from her, which from the news previously posted, sounds very promising.
Personally, I have nothing against using her "innocence" in this industry, as long as it is fitting and appropriate, which so far I think it has been. And the fact that she looks so different and unconventional, it's so refreshing. Makes me eager to see more of her so I can see other sides of her beauty.
Agree with whippie, who said that she somehow fits Givenchy and Vogue Paris, but these brands are meant for older women. I'd also add Calvin Klein to this, but I think her appearence this season was right because a) the collection had a purity note which I think she fits and b) She is coincidentally Dutch and shares similarity with Lara, who happens to be CK's girl at the moment.
I think the fact of knowing that she's a minor put off several people, even though in my opinion, she can pull off 'big woman' stuff. Sounds to me like an excuse to not like her, apart from her weird features.
True, her answers do not seem very mature, though I don't think it is a bad thing. Even though I'm aware girls are more mature than boys at her 'apparent' age, it's kind of hard to expect elaborated or intrincate answers from her. Also, maybe the fact that she's not very fluent could be another reason for that. I just think she just said that to sound nice and relevant to fashion, instead of a complete outsider.
Maybe if she stays longer in this industry, she can develop into a very professional model. Only time will tell...
Just my two cents
