Its russian reduction of name Daria - Dasha, Alexandra - Sasha,Irina Ira etc

i know that im fluent in russian
but i just don't understand why her thread isn't called daria....

That is a question to take to a moderator, rather than the other members.

The reason: Because that is what it was named by the member who started this thread. And because it's her more commonly used name and everyone seems to know her by this name, we just left it alone and did not edit it.

oh well, i just aksed cos i was about to start a thread on her, since nothing came up in search...
