i'm a bit late, but geez, the la decadanse editorial is stunning. i can totally feel the serge gainsbourg & jane birkin vibe. the poses are so strong and sexy!
and those h&m ads are great; her body is to die for! not that we didn't know that before though..

I'm not really bothered by that... It's always nice to see daria in these campaigns but i'd love to see her in a Lanvin or Balenciaga campaign. But it won't happen if meisel is still the photographer of both ads...

Do you really think it is something personal? Because that would be horrible - from all I hear Daria is great to work with. I was sure they would be photographed together in last year's Godfather spread but ...

Well Meisel worked with Freja so I guess anything is possible!

I finally got my copy of Dossier Journal....Obviously we already had scans but I thought I would copy the small bit of text for you as it gives insight to Daria's great personality!

" Daria's house: A cook's kitchen, roasted root vegetables and bottles of red wine. We had so much wine & beets that our teeth and lips were stained red...not the best food choice for a shoot. Her home is shared with three cats: Roonie, Smoker and Wonder Kitty. Wonder was a rescue found in my garage and Daria took her in. Man, that kitten really hit it big. How many cats does it take to make a cat lady? We listened to records on her phonograph and shot pictures. Was a perfect day.- Cass Bird
