No, the last time Daria appeared in VP it was the March issue. Maybe Alt wants to work with other models?

I remember reading something a few years ago in Vogue Paris, where she said she'll be working as a model until her 27th birthday, and then enjoy her money travelling the world and dedicating it to her personal projects... And she turned 27 in 2010... Any chance it's the reason of this long break???
I'm still dreaming about seeing her with VS...

^ she later said in another interview that she wasn't going to put a time limit on anything. it could be some reason why she is taking a "break," but who really knows. she has always been a model who picks and chooses her modeling jobs, so now she is probably only going to do limited stuff.

i don't want to kill your dream, but we will most likely never see her for VS, especially this late in her career. and with lancome. but like i said, who knows.

^I know it's pointless to think about it, since she chose Lancôme over VS, but she would have been VS's best asset!

she would have been the supermodel with a huge status like giselle by now. either way im happy for daria.

i still think lancome is a better choice for a long and respected career in the industry. a model can be with a cosmetic company for years. for example christie blinkley, christy turlington, carolyn murphy, etc. vs on the other hand would give models the biggest exposure that u can imagine of.

anyhow, i want to see new daria's work........im desperate

Daria Werbowy for VS back in 2005/2006 would have been a dream!. It's ridiculous that poeple actually thought that that would do bad for her career. But she chose Lancome, and I guess she's content with that.

I guess she took this much needed break because she worked so much at the beginning of her career.

^ She doesn't want the exposure. She said she wishes she didn't have to give interviews. That's why she could never be a VS angel. They are required to give interviews and not only that, but quite shallow/vapid ones too. I don't think those are terms anyone would ever associate with Daria.

I think she was sick. There was one FW season where she had this huge bump on her nose and she gave an interview that said it was basically her body's way of saying "you need to rest" so she took a season off. I think that's the season you are referring to.

You're right but which models are famous outside the industry other than Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum, Gisele Bundchen & Adriana Lima? It's sad but the models aren't so popular outside fashion industry
