I officially do not like her hair. She looks so different, not like the Daria that I'm familiar with. She reminds me of Tasha Tilberg now.

im so in love with this new editorial. it is so beautiful, so refreshing and so daria! cass bird and daria are a combination made in heaven. cass bird can bring out the best of daria in her purest self.

i think the wilderness is the place where daria feels utmost comfortable and at home with piece and cass bird understands this. the result is magnificent. i can't really ask for more from daria.

I agree with Congacon. Cass brings out the best in Daria. I love that editorial in Elle France even though I'm not at all drawn to the cover. It's great that they let these two work together. Their chemistry is amazing!

the thing is that now she looks sexy, not in that endless meaningless effort to make her fit mainstream sexuality. she looked unexpressive and superbored, like her body language was going nowhere.
her body language speaks ambiguity - androginy - gendercrossing. you can't make a leaf look like a stone. unless you use photoshop!

i hope this is the beginning of daria liberation!!

There’s plenty to love in the Juergen Teller-lensed fall Céline campaign (the flamingos, the dark-cherry jacket), but it’s Daria Werbowy’s short, milk-chocolate hair that warrants a double take.

Über-creative Dutch hairstylist Christiaan (just Christiaan…or Mister Marvelous, according to Byredo’s Ben Gorham, who recently collaborated on a cologne with him) coiffed Werbowy for the ad, and shares the story—complete with process shots!—exclusively with ITG:

wanna cut it now
ok come over
long dead hair
ready to lose it
months earlier in st barth
she shaved the nape with me
that was now bleached and a few inches long
braided and separate
left that alone
rest just shagged up and around face
chin length
so she was left with fresh hair
a tousle on top
instead of on the shoulder

Bit strange with the little plait, but I like her new hair! She still looks gorgeous and it's good to see her differently! It seems like she has had the long hair for ages!
