I'll translate

(The wording in this article is so blatantly Cantonese, wow...someone who only spoke Mandarin would not be able to understand, I think)
Daria and Lancome - Reunion in Paris!
Though everyone around here says that you can call yourself a model if you have proportional facial features, who are the real "supermodels" of today? Rosemary? Kathy? Eunis? Or Leon's sweetheart Galie? (Some Cantonese slang that I can't really translate well literally). Well, this beautiful and exotic-looking one here is a geniune, world-class top model!
Her name is Daria Werbowy, and Prada, YSL, Gucci, Missoni, and Chanel have used her in their ad campaigns. She's 23 this year, and she's still the global image girl (face) for Lancome! Though you see doll-faced models like Gemma Ward, Lily Cole, and Natalia everywhere, it's Daria who conveys the sensational aura of Linda Evangelista.
In this issue, "Honey" has an exclusive interview with Daria, and we'll ask her about her experiences during the journey from being discovered to her current Lancome campaign. Want to know more? Flip the page!

So where's the rest of it??? Haha, now I'm curious!!
WOW! u did such a good job in translating... wonder if i can do as gd as you
are u chinese? thx so much for saving me from translating the intro~
this is a very local magazine in HK, and frankly, it uses a lot of slangs (which is not quite good)... so, mostly, there's some expression that only Cantonese would understand
that "(Some Cantonese slang that I can't really translate well literally)" 's meaning is something like "dont be a shallow fool" or "u gotta know more outside your own circle/world"

if i translate it literally, it means "a frog in a well"
so here's the interview:
H: "Honey" (a part of the magazine "Monday")
D: Daria
H: Why you had the idea of working with Lancome?
D: About 9 months ago, Lancome expressed interest in working with me due to my performance in the fashion industry. We had a meeting with a PR company to introduce ourselves, hence, there's the contract.
H: Why did you agree to work with Lancome?
D: There's a few reasons I signed the contract with Lancome. First, I trust this brand and agree their definition of beauty, I dont like those shallow, extravagent and casual(in a bad way) brand. Lancome is very traditional, it represents all women. The feeling of it is very comfortable and elegant. Therefore, I have confidence in it.
H: What dose your contract with Lancome include?
D: I will have ties to every cosmetic, skin care, body care, fragence products of Lancome. Of course, the most anticipated one is the newest Hypnose fragrance.
H: Dose Hypnose the fragrance means anything special to you yourself?
D: Hypnose's meaning is very similar to seduction, I think every women are born with this quality. If you're a woman who can use this quality with skills, I believe Hypnose will fit you well.
H: Except Hypnose, which product of Lancome you like most?
D: After signing the contract with Lancome, I've learnt a lot from them. Me and my friends especially like Hypnose and I really like their mascara and Hydra-Zen face cream. I always bring them with me whenever I am going on a trip or at home, along with every taste of Juicy Tubes (that's what it said, but EVERY?? that's a bit too much

) and Gommage Caresse's body care.
H: Is there any special meaning that the campaign's main color is purple?
D: Um..... It's like I'm telling a story... a story about magic, dreams and romance. It represents me and every other women, to be attractive without any intentions. I think that's the most attractive part.
H: Which part of yourself, you think, that can express your charm the best?
D: It must be my eyes. Eyes is the main way to communicate with others. When you're looking at somebody, you can see if they're happy, angry or sad. You can feel their soul directly. I think all women can be attractive, basically. The more you're mysterious, the more attractive you can be. [um... she really LOVES anything mysterious, she's stress this point so many times in different interviews

]
H: Do you think you are pretty?
D: I think beauty is not just on the inside. You're already beautiful if you are full of energy, kind and with compassion. I'm very lucky that I won the beauty lots (something like that, i guess that what she always says), but I have flaws just like everybody else. The true beauty is different on everyone. It would be affected by the personalities and one's mind.
H: What is elegant to you?
D: An elegant person's action and behaviour would not be extravagent and he/she should be full of confident.
H: Let's talk about your root. Where are you from?
D: I was born in Poland's 克拉科夫 (a place name, i dont know the English). I am a very tranditional Ukrainian. Then I moved to Toronto, Canada. For now, I like to travel a lot and to know more people around the world.
H: How did you start modeling?
D: I won a contract of IMG Models NY when I was 14. However, I wanted to continue my study. In 2001, I did my first NY Fashion Week, then went to Paris, Milan those places. I went to casting everyday and got nothing. I went back to Canada in 2002 and decided to change my image. In 2003, I kept a long hair and became more sure of myself. So I decided to gave myself one more chance and went back to US for IMG. After my first show with Marc Jacobs, I started to work with Steven Meisel of Prada. Hence, my modeling career start then. I treasure every minute of now because I understand I can't be in this industry forever.

there it is, hope it's not that bad
