I like her doing more of these kinds of shoots. I know she IS the it-model at this moment but somehow her looks is slightly tacky/trashy... how can I explain this, the Las Vegas waitress look... sometimes I don't think she makes things look stylish.

English Vogue

I saw the January 2005 English Vogue & I thought Daria was overwhelmed by the looks she wore. I was less than impressed with her appearance in that issue.

By contrast, Rie Rasmussen and Michelle Buswell both looked to me like superstar models. Most fashion followers have liked Rie at one point or another & I thought her look in January English Vogue retained that appeal.
Michelle Buswell has had a huge year in 2004 & Im not sure why she isnt given credit for it when all you ever read about is Daria this Daria that. Michelle is much closer to my idea of what a strong & significant fashion model looks like than Daria's haunted, bug-eyed clothes hangar look.

If anyone has the January English Vogue check out the way michelle vivifies every photo & ensemble & how Rie bridges the actress/model personality in her stunning way. By contrast Daria sits there like a puppet with yards of colored fabric swaddling her. At this point I think Daria is a fashion fad that Conde Nast is snowing the world with. She was an excellent model a year ago when she was curvier look at Italian Vogue. Now she looks haunted and rarely looks like the superstar model she is touted to be. Last remotely good Daria edit I recall was in US Vogue Charlize Theron issue with Daria in English countryside by Testino. look at Michelle in January English Vogue she's everything that Daria is not.

I love Daria's body... and her face straight on is soooooo amazing and unique. Her face from a side angle isn't the greatest..
She rules the runway though... something about her.. I'm mesmerized when I watch her.
