i think that daria is amazing. there is something so down to earth about her. after reading her interviews she seems like shes a really unique person, and still grounded. shes gorgeous. ive never met her, but i have a friend that met her at a casting about a year ago. she said that she was so funny, and she kept everyone entertained while they were waiting. she said that she is drop dead gorgeous in real life as well.

actually i think it's an almost unrecognisable daria.
at first, last autumn, i thought it wasn't her, but i changed my mind.
i'm not sure though.

yep-- it`s Michika Ishikawa, an illustrator. After the interview, she drew a picture of Daria but well, i donno if i like her drawings...

I saw her just some stupid Lancome ad but going through this thread.. i can say just wow. I also understand now why everybody is so mad about her! Go Daria!

to say it in an extreme way, there're two darias actually: lancome/testino/clean/bright daria (which personally i leave to those who deserve airbushed women ) and inez&vinoodh/weber/dirty/dark daria (which is MY daria! , the one my blog is devoted to!)

yea, i`ll scan it later But in her drawing , Daria looks like a Greek statue--a sleepy Greek Statue, to be precise it would have been great if Daria drew something too, I`ve only saw her drawing abstract stuff ( squiggly lines, etc)

you know, that matches my ideal of androginity... perfectly embodied by daria.

p.s.: there was a sort of self-portrait (at least i interpreted it like that) on sell at e-bay last year. the pic was posted here, but it's also seeable in other forums about her. you can see she has some technique, but i think she should work more on her style.
