Hi Eword, In the 90's Supermodels thread you invite me to give my opinion on Daria so I'm here to make your dreams come true.

first of all I have already visited your blog, I read your "the making of a Supermodel 1-5", well, Supermodels existed in the 90's but not right now so I would change your titles as "the making of a Top Model"

You had already comprehended that Daria is not a Supermodel, I really don't know why you still are call her SUPERMODEL.

anyway, i hope you understood that the whole series of posts there on "the making of a supermodel" is just ironic and showing that my opinion is that daria is everything but a supermodel. not only because there're no real supermodels around in the same meaning of the 80-90s supers, but just because it's daria who doesn't have the super-attitude, she's too tomboysh, reserved and culturated.
if you go through the whole blog there and my posts here, you'll see how that's been my opinion since i properly got into daria. i'll say more. only ppl who don't follow daria really, lancome ads admirers and journalists encouraged by img and lancome may say she's a supermodel. most of posters here agree that she's a top model, actually the most talented and versatile top model around, with an intellectual vibe that personally i like very much.

now i'm ready to start the day!

anyway, you won't have me here to accept provocations and i don't want to start any discussion about the subtle line between 80s-early 90s hedonism and trash... just let me say that it's incredible how aggressive you nostalgic guys are. you never accept different thought and opinions from yours... well, that's typical of old ppl actually...

and it's rather evident you know nothing about daria, as a model i mean, of course.

Thanks to everyone who recently posted pictures of Daria (for a moment there I was going to say "thanks to everyone who posted recent pictures of Daria", but of course there are none ) especially Tortoisie, those collages of Christian Dior are more than amazing!! I'm a total sucker for artistic and inspirational collages like that in magazines.... it's sad that there aren't enough of that type of artistic pieces in Vogue etc. in the UK
