TAKE TWO: Donatella Versace certainly worked hard while she was in New York last week. After giving a keynote speech at the WWD/DNR CEO Summit and hosting a private dinner for Allure editor in chief Linda Wells, the fashion house's creative director started shooting Versace's spring ad campaigns on Friday. While the company did not confirm any information about the campaigns, sources said it has tapped a similar cast of characters to those featured in its fall ads. Mario Testino, who shot Versace's fall campaign and recent ads with Halle Berry and Madonna, photographed the men's ads in a Manhattan studio on Friday with actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers and a female model in a relatively straightforward (for Versace) style. Meyers also modeled clothes and accessories for the fall campaign. Meanwhile, the women's ads will feature many of the same supermodels as the fall ones, which included Kate Moss, Christy Turlington, Carolyn Murphy, Angela Lindvall and Daria Werbowy. — Stephanie D. pregnant? yeah, of course i'm the father!

well, some source i consider as reliable posted a comment a few weeks ago at my blog saying that she's not pregnant at all, but if the next campaigns we'll see a little child with a patato on her face we'll see where he/she comes from!

p.s.: despite my preference for grungie-hippiechic-androginous daria, i totally love the gucci ads. she's so good and convincing there. maybe the best (the only good?) thing that testino did with her.

She's on the top of her career, why should Daria be pregnant?
I love all her adds, specially the Chanel ones. Daria looks amazing, so fresh, young, so perfect!!!

that vogue paris shooting - dating back to 2003, not from this year -simply shows the pure essence of daria as a model: androginy and a total ability to play both genders, which is the reason why i like her so much and i adore this editorial.

then 2004 came and *their* attemp to make her a new evangelista, like in that awful vogue september cover with all the other models... but she resurrected in 2005 thanks to god and was back to her identity. amen. (apart from a few horrors she did somewhere)
