In Paris Vogue.fr's video blogs, Emmanuelle Alt talks about how PARIS VOGUE will be featuring "Daria, daria, daria" in all of the photography sessions done the week after the shows by Inez van Lamsweerde and Terry Richardson for the May issue (featuring a lot of the fall/winter fashions). aaawww... sweet memories.
that was the first interview i saw by her on ftv. it was really *early stages*, maybe i knew her name in that occasion... i was stroke by her low voice, i wasn't expecting a voice like that.

^Ok this is a somewhat basic answer, from how I remember...

After Tom Ford, Frida Gianni (current designer for Gucci) was named creative director of Gucci overall (She had previously been director of accessories) and they appointed Alessandra to be designer of womens wear. But after only a year they made Gianni head of everything, they claimed Alessandra left because of differences with the management or something.
Im not sure of the exact politics that went on behind the scenes. Maybe it just wasnt working having too many artistic opinions within the one brand???

Hypnôse, Fatale mascara, Color Fever lipstick and Slim Success for the body. For the eyes, Primordiale, Optmium Yeux, all Lancôme.

A fashion icon?
Emmanuelle Alt, Vogue Paris' stylist. She's fantastic, I learn a lot from her.

Best place in the world to work?
Paris. It's there fashion appears in it's most brute, with the most glamourous shows and shoots. Besides, I love the city. It's beautiful and I feel great there.

Last book you read?
Demian, from Herman Hesse. A book that tells the story of friendship of two teenagers where one changes the life of the other.

What song is on repeat in your iPod?
All from My Morning jacket, an alternative country rock band, from Louisiana, south of USA.

Your favorite designers?
I like many, but my heart labels are Chanel, Marc Jacobs, Stella McCartney, Chloé.

Favorite drink?
Cuban drink Mojito. I always order it, wherever I go. I find it refreshing and not too sweet. It's delicious!

What have you bought in Brazil?
Bikinis. They are the country's face and the modelling is great, there's none other. At least on me, they looked really good.
