a bit too little in my opinion.
an icon is someone who has a real position and influence in popular culture and that isn't daria's case. she also seems to have done and still do everything to escape from such a role, if she ever was given the possiiblity to get it.

She's really famous now, I've seen all her ads, covers, and editorials she's almost as Kate! in 4 years!!!!

Eword.. hehe what I mean is she's more known to the general public than say gemma(her looks too unique anyway) . When shes in magazines instead of putting the show that she walked for like say "LV s/s 07" they put her name "daria werbowy" and I guess the cosmetic contract and stuff but I suppose if you ask one of my friends they probably wouldn't know her they might recognize her but don't know its "daria werbowy" , so I guess she doesnt fit into the icon of your description .
