well, i more or less agree. apart from the first picture we saw a few days ago and the two with daria and hilary, the remaining set is really so so...
i mean, if one just looks at daria looking fabulous and blah blah, okay, daria is beautiful... but that's what we know... i think we should look at the construction of the pics and some are rather plain and boring.

on the contrary the missoni pictures seem more accurated. they aren't focused on daria, but on the geometry of the volumes and on the relationships of the colours. very styled and essential. daria looks like a piece of art, that pleases me very much.

I suppose Gisele is so far ahead of the other girls because when she's in an ad, it has mass appeal. She appeals to the fashion crowd (sort of), but also to women who aren't into fashion, and to men as well.
I wish Kate would be #1...she deserves it.

It's weird indeed that Kate did not as much money as Gisele. Daria should be in the third position (more than those boring VS models as Lima & Ambrosio). Don't forget the brillant ad with Gisele & Moss... and Daria!

Anyway, I believe the reason why Gisele is so far ahead in the game in terms of earnings is because of her shoe line, Ipanema. I've heard that her shoes sell like hot cakes in Brazil because Gisele's considered a god there. The majority of her income comes from Ipanema. I think when that list was prepared, Gisele also had a multi-million dollar contract with Victoria's Secret. I believe she also signed a multi-million dollar contract with Apple Computer, so really, I'm not surprised she's making millions more than the likes of Kate and Heidi.

Anyway, I'm glad Daria isn't wh*ring herself to all these different companies like Gisele. I think Gisele is overrated and overexposed, not to mention overpaid. I'm so sick of seeing her wrinkly face everywhere, and I'd be eternally sad if Daria took the same path.
