I saw Lauren Conrad on the cover of Us Weekly and I thought it was Carmen Electra.

In my defense, I have never seen an episode of the Hills or Laguna Beach so I didn't even know a person named Lauren Conrad even existed. And they do look similar to each other.

So to people who have never heard of any models, it's not that out of this world.

Somewhat off topic but today at work i was reading an issue of Seventeen magazine from 1998 and they had so many pictures and so much information about models, they were treated like celebrities and it kind of makes me sad that this no longer happens. I know models are blamed for the negative self-image that young females have about themselves, but is this argument even plausible? What models do girls even know about anymore? Alot of the models of right now are alot more stable and productive than the young actresses being looked up to right now Ex. Daria vs. Lindsay. (The only thing that I dont really like about my whole "models as role models" argument is the young age of many of these models, I dont think girls should be looking up to 13 year olds).

nice to see there're new pics. this ed is definitely growing on me. i like the accuracy of colours and lines. i love the pic of her in the middle of the road with a bottle of water in one hand. some have a 80s vibe.
i definitely think i'll buy this issue.
