^ you may have this impression cos the photographer is the same in both eds: terry richardson, who seems to have a great style in exalting erotism in daria. that editorial you're referring to was out in a 2004 issue of vogue paris. i'm not at home and can't check my archive, so i can't give you more details.
i like this editorial, a great way to start 2008.

The new ed in Vogue Nippon is one my all time favs of Daria, so colorful and beautiful, love her especially in the floral d&g dress and the feathered McQueen

I agree with you. It's not her best edito. It's ok, nothing more, nothing less. Her last Harper Bazaar ed was much better.
