This summer, the H&M Campaign is totally dominated by IMG girls, and they're all in bathing suits.
If your hopes are high, be assured: It's really good.
The first round features Lara Stone actually sitting straight up instead of lying naked on some tile floor thanks to W Magazine's various fantasies - remember kids, this is H&M and not S&M. Sweet relief!
And then there's Daria Werbowy who was also shot poolside. She looks resplendent and gorgeous as usual, and sadly, this is the last time we'll be seeing her for a while:
As Faran reported in Page Six Magazine yesterday, Daria won't be taking work all summer, because she'll be sailing around the world instead.

since the article was mentioned, i think i'd better report the exact quote, otherwise there's risk of a lot of fuss for nothing: "on ne restera sans voix quand elle dira plus tarde qu'elle ne défile pas cette saison, c'est parce qu'elle...". the remaining words soon in the scans!
(translation: "we're speechless when later she's telling us that this season she won't do any show because...").
i don't think it's the only reason though.

.i was actually going to post the small article on fashionista.com just now! it's very much a daria thing to do to sail across the world. hasn't she been talking about that for awhile now? you know what i just love about daria? the fact that she can take off the summer season and still, hopefully, come back and continued to be wanted by the fashion industry. she's such a beauty!

Alas, none of that's happened yet. But! She'll still make waves this summer — of the literal variety, that is. Some insider or other told Page Six Magazine Werbowy's taking a break from modeling to sail around the world with her family. "She's told her agency, IMG, that her cell phone will be off all summer," the person said. We can envision her telling her agency about her vacation plans and their not understanding that cell-phone reception and the middle of the ocean don't exactly have a symbiotic relationship. When they finally got that she really won't take their calls for weeks on end, we imagine they cried into their BlackBerrys and sent her off with a designer backpack full of sunscreen. No one will want to buy perfume from a prune, after all.

Thanks to eword at the Darialogist for the heads up and the pictures! - Daria's in Barcelona busy promoting her new makeup line with Lancome. I wish she'd come back to Canada!
Her three-piece makeup collection, including eye-shadow quad, lip gloss, and lipstick, for Lancôme comes out this month.
