so my dad buys the recent esquire with bruce springsteen on the cover, and inside they have a "five minute guide to models".

they have the basic girls, adriana lima, karolina k, ana bb, and then a couple of real models like liya and natalia.

with each model they had a picture and a bio. for daria, they had a picture of a differnt model, i think alyssa sutherland. how could they mess up so bad.

that's awful. i hate it when magazines don't put the names of models in, because i think they always should, but then when they do, and they put the wrong name...

Daria Werbowy is many things: Chanel muse, David Yurman fixture, runway staple. But a blonde bombshell certainly isn’t one of them. Thanks to faithful Daily reader, Brendan Ordonez who pointed out that Esquire magazine’s August issue includes a small feature on the Canadian model—and a photo of the wrong girl!

According to the magazine, Daria isn’t the long-faced, leggy girl whose haunting eyes blink from Yurman ads on a regular basis. Instead, she’s Alyssa Sutherland, an Australian beauty recently seen in the Abercrombie + Fitch ads, along with Frizz Ease commercials in Europe.

While Alyssa is stunning, she’s certainly no Daria (unless, of course, you’re the Esquire photo department).[/QUOTE]

u know...i really resent ur implication that adriana, KK, and ana bb are not real models. just coz a model is more commercialized doesnt mean she's not a real model. it's not as tho KK, adriana, and abb only pose for maxim or something.

Did you guys checked it out all the other pictures at chanel.com ? I cant believe they are just advertising in the magazines the only picture that reminds a lot the old campaign! I really like this campaign much better than the previous one. She isnt as tanned in this one lol.

looking at the pictures on the site made me like them so much more than when I've seen them anywhere else . . . i have no idea why but she looks AMAZING! and these are the best chanel ads i've seen in a long time . . .
