Do you guys think that Daria is losing some of her relevance and power in fashion since she no longer does the heavy-duty modeling and the runway?

She used to be Karl, Donatella, Cavalli and Tom's favorite a few years back, but now, she is no longer associated with a worthy clothing company, or a designer, to speak of. It just seems she is no longer as visible as she used to be.

What do you guys think?

Well, for me, she has MANY years doing big campaigns, not so many as before but still with recognized & important campaigns. I mean, as a model, she keeps being successful because how many models make big campaigns for 1, 2, or 3 seasons and then doesn't have any other important capaign? Hopefully Daria keeps having recognized campaigns to delight us season after season, let's see for how many years she remains in the "fashion world"

Definately not!!! I think she is still number 1. the fact that she doesn't even do runway anymore, but still books major campaigns, and does a lot editorials (nearly once a month in various Vogues) i think she is just fine!!!
i think maybe because we don't see her as much because she no longer does runway, but it seems that everyone still wants to work with her!!!

those are some other models who reached the top and stayed there, yet do you see them on the runway anymore nowadays?
i think that models likes them, and daria, who have reached the stop feel they can move into a level of modelling beyond the runway....

Her face looks 'fuller' and not so 'gaunt' in this new ad. Good or bad thing? It takes away from her look, the bit tired/strung out but beautiful face...this seems a bit generic. I swear If I had Daria under my camera at my direction it would be the best photo shoot ever!!

Very true. Once the huge and rising 'supermodel's' of the fashion world hit it, that's it. They don't need runways to book campaigns anymore, they're set. Daria is definitely past that mark, she's got a huge beauty campaign and she hasn't done runway in a while, and she doesn't need to to book edits and campaigns, she can pick and choose Same can be said of Natalia Vodianova or Gisele etc etc

I believe all of us think daria is a supermodel, but sometimes I quite worry about her status, because I think she's not as famous as kate or she's not such powerful as kate...
It's may be due to her low profile, she doesn't appear in those function like natalia or gisele,but that's why I love her, she's always the no.1
