i am actually a little disappointed with the stefanel ads as well. i really dislike how her hair is in her face. on the other hand, i love the loewe and dsquared ads!

I love Dsquared2 ads!! The campaign is my favorite from ss 2010 season. Imo it suits the collection perfectly.

I like the eighties feel ... it is almost Gia Carangi-esque, a very different type of sex appeal. Thanks everyone for the new pictures

that's daria's true sex appeal, so i really don't underdstand how ppl can say the 2 ads looks the same... it's the opposit, totally!!

the 2nd wonderful stefanel ad explains why the 1st is so bad: cos in the 1st one she has to play a kind of erotism which is unnatural for her, while in the 2nd one it's daria, period. so unnatural to be the strongest limit of her versality.

it's also confirm that testino shots daria in a good way when he catches the androgyne in her.

i miss my blog today, i would write like 20 posts about it!!!

to me the 2 stefanel ads look the same...it is just the pose and the clothes that are different! !

yeah, 'just' the pose, but that 'just' contains a whole gender shift, like the second ad explains why the first is so dull and clumsy. in this one the game between masculine and feminine is so strong and charming, really daria at the best in what she is the best: a female model out of female stereotypes.
in the first one, that arm above her hand, a still pose we have seen so many times and it looks like almost the only one she can do when she has to play the femme. and of course, seeing the styling, everything looks odd. but it's daria herself to be the odd one when they want her as a femme. she is a too evident tomboy for that. fortunately!!

i am curious to see the rest of the campaign, so we can judge if this second is just an unwanted miracle!
