I must say that I do not agree with all of this - however there is an element of truth here! Daria does look a bit plastic and artificial at times.

I almost vomited seeing Daria in American Vogue last week. While the McDean photography is brilliant, the overly used models are sickening and vomit-inducing. Liya, again? Karen again? What is Vogue up to? Are they squeezing Daria's allure in order to use other models, and not be accused of not giving top models the full fifteen minutes? Liya is a pretty black woman however she's practically in every issue of Vogue since 2002. She is not the only black model out there. Karen, if not for Grace Coddington or Nuclear Wintour she'll never be in US Vogue. Have you seen her in Bazaar that often? Or W or Elle?
It's preposterous to keep seeing these models all over and over again. Maybe everyone on this forum should sign a petition to ban Daria and Liya and albino Elson from appearing in any high fashion magazines
and just do Kohl's and K-Mart ads instead! We could do it!

Sickening and vomit-inducing? Don't contradict yourself.. Hana is by far the thinnest IMO. She is very pretty and all, but too THIN!

as Ive said for a year, daria is far from the #1 model that conde nast tries to convince everyone.
her klein boxing edit is mediocre in march vogue and she is overshadowed, again, by gemma & karen in the mcdean edit.
furthermore bazaar with winberg & other better girls has now been superior to vogue for about 3 months running. its funny how much of the world is so in awe of wintour that they dont look closely at her boring magazine, and instead fall over themselves praising her/it/daria. go over to 'supporting cast' to read my critique of march vogue/daria/wintour/klein & when I get around to analyzing march bazaar I will show how its about 10X better than march vogue. exactly, julia should have been in vogue, not daria, get daria a doctor & get julia more work. and bazaar is using winberg, marija, louise buswell & more fresh girls. daria symbolizes the decay & descent of us vogue & everytime I hear someone drooling over her I become angry. daria only looks good in the chanel ads & thats cos karl is a great designer photographer & image man.
