it's not that it matters so much..it's just daria fans like this kinda stuff..it's kinda like how some people who read us weekly care where lindsay lohan parked her mercedes or what jessica simpson bought at costco..it's not gonna change your life, but it's cool to know that's all..plus opening and closing shows doesn't seem like a big deal in the grand scheme of things but in the modeling world it is big...kinda like how an actor gets golden globes and oscars..it shouldn't seem important, but it is..you know?

If I want to care about whether or not Daria opened a show, that's my business; Daria is the only 'famous person' obsession I've ever had, and I want her to do well and break her record. The fact that she didn't open or close the show that is her main campaign right now.....grrr.

What I'm wondering now is if Angela and Daria are going to switch campaigns. Because remember, Daria opened and closed Fendi (Angela's current campaign) and Angela opened Chanel (Daria's current campaign). That would be strange, imo.

I have a feeling this may be Daria's last full-time runway season though. Her Lacome thing is just getting started, and by the time spring comes around, she may be too busy or too well-known to walk the runways full time. She has already conquered the fashion world on every front; there can't be much more she can do.

Come on...despite her less than stellar Paris showing, Daria has still had an absolutely amazing season. There's no way she'll be able to surpass it if she walks full time next season. It will be better for her to be exclusive: only walk for selective shows where she plays a starring role. Otherwise she'll just end up losing out more and more to new girls.

I agree, she would probably go through the same thing as natalia V, the whole CK exclusive thing. although it's very disppointing for fans, it's great for her.

i just watched daria's backstage interview on models.com...
am i the only one who hates the interviewer? she's so lame and gives the worst interviews ever. if daria wasn't so dropdead gorgeous, that would of been a waste of film.

Anyway, I think Daria might have opened Alexander McQueen. On the McQueen thread, there was someone who attended the 9pm showing of the show, who said that Snejana opened the show. But look:
