I totally agree Eword, I like Daria more than Gisele, but the man-face has sooo much range and versatility, face-wise.... Gisele is very very appealing, sexually, to both men and women, without being offensive but more of sophistication, and this is where Daria should pick up her game, if she wants to be the next big thing, Gisele-status!
Laetitia Casta could have been huge, if she has shown more interest in modelling, more Height and catwalk skills.
Daria seemed shoe in, but I'm pointing out what she lacks.......
I think the next big thing, I believe would be Izabel Goulart. Come to think of it, she's the anti-Daria!

...but I think that's the point, her look isn't about sexuality at all, hence her ability to attract both genders so equally, perhaps even more females than males. I don't think her stare is vacant/hollow at all...I agree with Callidora that there's something secretive about it, like she has something to say with that gaze.
Most of all I love the sense of melancholy and sadness in her eyes; not that I like her to be sad, I mean she looks amazing always laughing backstage, but its always that stare that somehow gets to me on both an aesthetic and emotional level, and keeps me coming back for more.
I also think that's another reason why she could never work for say VS, almost because her look is too "deep" for them, and they need a straight-up sensual model to catch the average consumer. and I don't mean this in a bad way, I mean I shop at VS too lol. And Gisele, horse-face or not, does a pretty darn good job....

eBay hasn't popped up any issues of Vogue China yet, but I can subscribe to it through my grandma in China...there are Chinese companies that help with Chinese magazine subscriptions here in the US, too -- you just have to find them!

I love Mod TV videos, they're always so well put together and this one was no exception! Though its getting tiring hearing Daria and all the other models gush on and on about him in every clip...though I guess its natural; she owes much of her success to him. And despite all his absurdities, he's got such a good eye. Gotta love the Kaiser!

Daria's voice and conversation manner just adds to her coolness factor. Daria is one cool model. B)
B)I think Daria is even more beautiful when you see her talking and moving than she is in pictures. Unlike many models, I think acting could actually work for her if she wanted to try it.
And eword, I personally have the opinion that no one is 100% straight or 100% gay; as a society we of course have to have every kind of label imaginable, but I think attraction often defies gender.
