I'm absolutely loving the Versace. It's so old school. With Chanel, I'm wondering if Karl re-shot the campaign. Remember, they were supposed to have shot it in Hong Kong, almost immediately after the fall shows ended. And Daria still had the sandy colored hair. Now here she has the dark hair, and it looks like she's in a studio. I do really like the full-length Chanel, but the close-up could be a lot better.

i noticed that too. we were expecting hong-kong and we got that instead. but didn't it rain when they were there?
anyway, if it isn't karl, it certainly someone who listened to his istructions very well:

I do really like the full-length Chanel, but the close-up could be a lot better.

I actually think the close-up is better than the full length. I won't analyze it too much now since there's more to come but for now its kind of so-so for me.

I agree that Daria totally commands that Versace ad, even though Kate is in the middle. With her dark hair and her eyes, she immediately draws the eye.

And I love that bronzer Lancome ad of Daria's; it's the best I've seen so far. I wish they would please just ease up on the airbrushing a little.

So far I'd still say that Daria's LV ads are my faves of her this season. I can't wait to see her for Cavalli. We get so much Daria in the magazines this fall, it's going to break my budget!

wow... i've been away for a while and there's so many new ad of her coming out!

i LOVE the Chanel ad... it's just, hands down! i have to say i love the close up way more then the other one. her eyes are just so demanding and hypnotic in the close up! i cant take my eyes off her!!

i expected it would hv shot in HK too... i remember those few days that she's supposed to be here were cloudy and rained sometimes... but there were sunny times and they could have shot it in/outside the new beautiful Chanel store... one of my friend even saw her in Tsim Sha Tsui (a highly crowded place that HK people and tourists usually go), so she surely did come for the Chanel shoot since she didnt participate in the couture show and any Lancome function (even the press didnt hv any pic of her!! )
a bit disappointed that this ad is clearly re-shoot

and the Versace ad... Daria is the most standout girl along with Kate Moss, as usual... nothing special, so 'Versace' and expected... and the sunglasses one with Kate even looks almost like the Prada/Gucci sunglasses ad she did before

the day after impressions.
i must say that seeing the versace ads again, apart from being too retouched in the 2nd and 3rd pics, she really commands the crew, but there's something clumsy in the models's positions and posings. i love the dresses, the concepts, but the images don't totally convince me. it must be my allergy to testino.
i'm not fond of the lancome either, again.
i'd say LV and Chanel are my fave at the moment, but i'm still evolving.
