Anyways, I do find it interesting that Karl re-shot the campaign, totally breaking with the city theme of the last 3 Chanel campaigns with Daria. My theory is that Daria had to dye her hair dark to do the Versace, because they needed a balance of blondes and brunettes. Then when Karl saw she had the dark hair, he thought it would much better to do a darker, moodier theme for fall.

about karl and daria, i'm used to saying that daria is his perfect b/f, but it's just a joke of mine. he certainly must prefer brad, but you feel something erotic in the way he shoots daria, she must embody his current ideal of female or - as i prefer when it comes to daria as my ideal - of fe-male.

i was watching tv and i caught daria on model talks.
it's a new video from the fall 06 season.
beautiful backstage images, nothing particularly new about contents.

I was watching ABC's of Rock today, and they're airing the episode about the letter "H." One of the segments are herion chic. The narratior/commentator said "The girls with the heroin chic look are super skinny, have dark circles under their eyes, and get paid millions of dollars to do it."

As she was saying that, Daria's face is shown on the TV screen.

I was on the floor laughing.

well, i wonder why among all the models that they could mention they had to choose just daria.
in the fall 2006 interview i was watching yesterday she looked even chubby compared to her collegues and she insisted a lot on the need to be healthy and how she likes doing a lot of sport. of course you never know, but her public image is everything but heroin chic.
