Hi Guys! I'm from Canada like Daria. I followed is career for a while. So here is some pictures of her from one of her first photoshoot in Canada (back in 1999). The pictures are from a French Canadian Magazine named Clin d'oeil.

I kind of have a problem with Daria being contracted with Lancome.....won't
this be a negative thing for her if she was ever to return to the runway?

Well, the payment for a cosmetics contract is potentially exponentially more than that of runway...so it's definitely not a negative thing for her (For us, perhaps! )

^ I suppose Daria is making personal choices now to rake up more cash
to make future plans? She's coming of age.....she did say in one of
her video interviews that when she reached 27 that she wanted to start
something new. Something to the effect of sailing around the world and
having her own restaurant....something like that. Well....good for her if
that is the case.

well, daria was still a bit immature as a model, but we can already see sparkles of her talent.

Doesn't Tiiu have a CG contract? And she's still doing runway.
Same with Tasha Tilberg.
Aaand... I think that's it. A cosmetics contract doesn't always mean negative for runway work.

Yeah I agree with Faith Akiyama and BodhiTree. I think when Models are very on the Top (as Angela Lindvall, Kate Moss, Gisele, Natalia V, Carolyn Murphy... and sadly Daria) with a lot of Advertisings, they do less of Fashion Shows! Sad but true!!!

^Those shows really are quite exhausting...the travel, the pace of the shows, etc. While it's sad for the fans, it's good for Daria. Daria's at the top now, making more money than the average person can ever hope to dream of having. No reason to work as hard.

but seeing models' expressions in shows i won't say that lack of enthusiam is so rare!
