i have got a question?daria is the spokesmodel for lancome and the reason that she was chosen has been explained many times,but my question was :what is lancome trying to achieve or expect from daria.Most big brands like to have a spokesperson who is appealing to the masses and has broken or will break into popular culture.This hasnt happend to daria(i believe that thats whats she wants herself) for daria it means a alot of money and representing a HIGHFASHION brand.But what has lancome gained with their partnership and do you think that lancome should have made a different choice?.Because they have signed a new spokesperson (isabelli rosselli daughter)this is not an attack on daria ,but simply a question.

gosh, i spent a quarter of hour to reply to your interesting question, modela, and everything got deleted because of this ****ing temporary pc i'm using...
anyway, i think i'll give you a proper answer at my blog, since the lancome thing is something i want to talk about again asap. especially after reading that lancome offered a contract to a new face for fragrances etc.
shortly my answer is: imo, if daria's contract for lancome had to be the return of supermodelism, that was a failure and the reason is that daria is more an antisupermodel than a real supermodel, unless she changes her behaviour and suddenly shows some will to get some popularity outside high fashion environment.
no need to say that imo what is a failure for supermodelism, is a sign of intelligence on daria's side.
