Dawsons Creek vs The OC

OMG DAWSONS CREEK, DAWSONS CREEK, DAWSONS CREEK. Other than Seth, everyone in the OC is vaguely or extremely annoying. At least in Dawson you had the double whammy of Pacey and Jen. Plus, Dawsons Creek (despite its moments of painful pretentios psychobabble) was about simplicity -they always celebrated that in each other. The Creek was symbolic of that. In the OC they are all about friggin shopping and stuff. Please.

yeah, dawson's creek. well, i wouldnt watch it now but i used to relate to the stories a tiny bit. i probably still would i admit. and the OC...i always found it so obnoxious how they shove on your face situations, and things you're supposed to have, listen to or see...it seems to me like they try to capture a generation a little too hard. if it werent for these elements of "trendiness" that make some people go 'wow', it wouldnt be any more interesting than Passions or Days of our Lives.
