Deck shoes

Do people still wear deck shoes?
I'm a jeans/deckshoes kind of person..I wonder if it looks wierd?

There's definitely a certain crowd that will never think deck shoes are out. I rather like them on both men and women!

Are deck shoes the ones with the leather 'thong' going through the rivets on the sides of the shoes?...I haven't seen them around for a while, but whatever floats your boat.

I don't like them so much- the make me think of old men in mid thigh, pleated khaki shorts
