People have mentioned how she usually has the same expression and doesn't smile. It's because her teeth aren't that great looking. At least that's what I think the reason is, having seen her smile on video for a moment... They're not freaky, but I recall them being kind of pointy. Or maybe it was just her canines. I feel kind bad for her, because I don't smile much for the same reason. My teeth aren't great and I'm self-conscious about them. But when you don't smile much for whatever reason, people tend to read into that, possibly assuming things about one's personality which might not be the case. She could get veneers I suppose, although they're costly. Maybe she's ok with not having them worked on, and if that's the case I think it's fine. William Eustace is another model who I don't see smiling much either, and I think it's for the same reason: his teeth, like Denisa's, aren't beautiful. But they're both successful models, and I think it's great that people can have a successful modeling career even if their teeth aren't perfect.

However, I would like to know why she seems to be based in Spain now, doing so much runway there as opposed to the larger markets.

And does anyone know of any video where she speaks on camera? For awhile now I've been curious to hear what she sounds like.
 
i adore her work wherever she is based (ya, mostly spanish shows and italian magazines). and what you said about her self-awareness of her teeth can be valuable insight. thanks for sharing your thought!

Thanks for the video. She sounds good. I just found the following interview of her with another Czech model, who does most of the talking. It's in all in Czech as far as I can tell, except for a few words, like when Denisa says "makeup".

Olga Sherer is another.

Although, she smiles often with her lips closed. :) I have this problem too.

I've noticed that about Denisa's teeth ... but it could also be that photographers want a certain look out of her - she has those hooded, moody eyes, and she isn't the first model you'd think of to do a bright and sunny shoot.

^ agree - those eyes are very beautiful but may limit her to certain expressions

^^ even in the video, michaela did most of the talking, so it doesn't seem like she is talkative even in her native tongue or showing a lot of teeth. so maybe it is a self-conscious thing Stellar said, probably with her growing up. in the video renata posted, i think i could see her upper frontal teeth being quite long, although being a fan i don't mind at all because her smile is so lovely
