It's important to remember that a muse is much, much more than a model who walks, even continuously, for a specific designer.

Sophia Coppola absolutely is a muse for MJ, because he probably has her in mind when he designs, she's his feminine ideal...which is essentially what a muse is for a designer.

Amanda Harlech is definitely a muse to Karl. Gisele could also possibly be considered a muse to D&G. Other than that, none of these names mentioned are true muses, just favorite models of that designer.

Strangely, most true designer muses aren't models. Betty Catroux and Loulou de la Falaise to YSL, Isabella Blow to McQueen, Carine Roitfeld to Tom Ford.

Just because a model fronts a designer's campaign or opens/closes a show does not necessarily make her a muse.

Also for Marc Jacobs at various times: Venetia Scott, Zoe Cassavettes, Zooey Deschanel, Kirsten Dundst, Winona Ryder

Amanda Harlech was a muse to John Galliano prior to Chanel

Debbie Dietering was also a muse to Galliano at one point during the nineties

Why Agyness would be a muse for anyone is beyond me. She has no appealing qualities whatsoever;however, the same could be said for Courtney Love. To each their own.
