Opening - They all looked great, the hair and make up were perfect, big improvement. Glad to see al all previous Angels plus Joan. Though everything looked a bit too bronze/cooperish (given it all looked gold in the previews) but if the theme was warm metallics then it worked well. The round stage worked wonders, glad they used it even more later on as a raised stage and perfect place for the girls with wings to walk by and performers to stand to the side. The remix could have been a bit better.

2nd segment - Ok, glad someone told Gigi her hair would look better in an updo. The Megan Fox/Ariana Grande wannabe did ok, wasn’t mad at it. I really don’t care if they lip synch in performances like this. Some of the faux feathers and props looked pretty cheap. The camera in the headpiece (actual camera or just an effect) was fantastic, do it more often and find a way to incorporate it more in future shows.

3rd - Meh, didn’t care, just skipped it.

4th - perfect performer choice, it set up the mood perfectly with the slow song then bumped it up. Karol looked great and exuded pure sex even while covered up. Honestly this segment didn’t need any of the plastic wings or props (poor Stella). Given the fast pace of the second part I expected girls to STRUT, Yasmín props to you, having Lui afterwards was a choice. Was waiting for Alessandra or Joan to come out and stomp, good to have Joan close it. Again didn’t need props, Irina would have done better without the hip thing and Grace… flawless.

5th - Ok, a good filler. Not as clear of a segment but had some pretty pieces. Did Beyoncé’s team not approve Crazy In Love for the show? Behatis reused wings fit in perfectly, if they’re going to use old wings, this was the way to do it. Those closing wings were very pretty.

Finale - a bit 2014/2008 ish but it worked well. Great cast! Candice killed that opening. I love the idea of 4 girls walking down but if it’s a black tie inspired segment, don’t put them in tshirts. Gigis quilted wings are a mess. The white felt out of place. Ok now…having Alessandra and Adriana in pure black lingerie, stockings, boots, and humongous wings, moving and posing at the oh so effortlessly and spinning back…just flawless. They deserve the big wings and clearly know how to handle them. Then comes Bella with hands on legs (understandable but girl, a bit higher on the hips, that helps balance the center of gravity) and looking down too much. Obviously she couldn’t handle them and it was highlighted with the two right before her. Not favorite year for her, the hair too light, the closing was meh.

I thought Missy almost cancelled, but good to give a big performer a highlight and that helps backstage to gather up for the finale. Great placement.

Overall…

Good - Hair and Make Up, Stage, Matching performers to sections, Camera Angles. Finally VS showing some booty (yet some girls did almost step into a vulgar point throwing ***). The looks were a good mix to sell them and mainly styled well, they gave glamour, it helps to have broad themes and not segments that look like costumes or cosplay. The new designer did well, miles better than that horrible Sophia lady. Performers were a pleasant surprise, they did the work to match the songs/themes well. It helped a lot they’re not on TV anymore. . For it being “live” they did well, it was well choreographed, the angles were stunning and most things went smoothly.

Needs work - the newer cast, last year was incredible. The materials for wings and props, a bit cheap and too plastic. If they don’t want to use natural feathers, reuse old wings. Missed some of the BTS, holiday commercial and backstage shots though. But they could still add them.

It exceeded my expectations tremendously, One of the better shows overall, above 2014 yet not with 2005/6/8. It reminded me a lot of the 2002/3 shows actually, with the slower sexy segments, black/white tie finale, remixes from that time, blowouts, a bit camp but not full yet full on costumes or silly multi colored excess.

Much better than last year for sure but it still looks very cheap. I loved the first and the last segment, the colors were wonderful. The new generation can’t hold a candle to the pros and the Hadids can’t walk to save their lives. I als hated Yasmin’s walk and Amelia’s walk was too strong for my taste. Candice looked absolutely stunning and so did Adriana.

Bella in the red look had me GAGGING. That gave me MAJOR Gisele's vibez. The tan, the blonde hair, she looked incredible. (however, her closing the show was such a dissapointment... she gave zero energy, that was a let down)

Candice, Adriana, Alessandra and Joan they a pros. Also Imaan is so extra but she's a goddes, same with Anok, Barbara, Yasmin, Ashley, Grace and some others.

You can tell VS loved Angelina, but it just didn't work for me. She was awkward and looked insecure... She tried tho. I'll give her that.

1- DOUTZEN: A GOLDEN GODDESS, served everything, face, body, beauty, energy, walk, supermodel attitude!
2- This year's production was far superior to last year's, stage, wings, clothes, shoes, EVERYTHING.
3- The cast and attractions were inferior to last year's. The casting director needs to understand that VS viewers don't want to see these high-fashion newcomers (call a few, but don't make them the majority of the show); most of them can't pull off their looks. We need models like Isabeli Fontana, Hilary Rhoda, Izabel Goulart, Grace Bol, Karolina Kurkova, Chanel Iman—the kind of models who made VS what it is today.
4- The makeup was PERFECT!
5- We don't need dresses, jumpsuits or pants, the show is about lingerie.
6- The PINK segment needs to end or improve, this year was a horror show.
7- I think executives will analyze year by year to invest more and more money and improve the show.

PS: Stop making Gigi and Bella to open or close the show, that place belongs to the (former) angels!

Yes and I really appreciated that Twice was singing live! It changes everything for me.
