I bought a bunch of Undercover Uniqlo stuff: Navy wool peacoat, black pleather motorcycle jacket, teal down jacket, forest green cardigan and black v neck sweater. Love all. And machine washable, except for the peacoat and wool v neck. A worthy addition to my Undercover stuff.

It was just announced Suno’s designers, Max Osterweis and Erin Beatty, have created a collection for UNIQLO as part of the lifewear brand’s Designer Invitation Project (an initiative that allowed designers from around the world to submit entry for possible brand collaboration).
The line—which will launch May 20—is inspired by “Japanese Americana” and features plenty of Suno’s signature prints, notably florals and stripes on a variety of pieces such as blouses, T-shirts, dresses, skirts and jeans. Prices will range from $19.90 to $39.90.
For men, UNIQLO is also collaborating with 2011′s CFDA Menswear Designer of the Year and 2013 CFDA Nominee Michael Bastian on a line of 16 reinvented polo shirts, which will cost $19.90 and will also launch May 20. stylecaster

helmut lang designed by Alexandre Plokhov for uniqlo is out on the 22nd. some of the styles are unisex. unfortunately, it's a sweats collection.

Going from what he has been doing for Lang, I expect a continuation of his Cloak for uniqlo stuff. hopefully a dope bomber or so.

i got the basquiat bag. it is indeed good (i feel much better with a basquiat tote than a Koons x HM one, in a way). and i wanted the l. weiner tshirts, but then forgot. the boyfriend got yayoi kusama tshirts.

these helmut lang x uniqlo look good, very comfy and actually basic uniqlo a bit "worked up". i definitly have my eyes on this grey sweatshirts (with hood+zip and the big pockets) and the regular black and grey ones (it is classic uniqlo. i don't really see what helmut lang brought there. oh yeah the triangle went a little down.) and i have to see these long hoodies with the zipper. they might not fit me at all (like i'm 99% my bottom is going to be an issue), but why not for the husband - same goes for this "turtle neck" sweatshirt - that could be good for winters here.

are the shorts menswear ? because they look like for women.

wait..how did i miss that alexandre is designing HL now? so some news for me on both fronts...love it.

I'll take TWO of each, please.

Fingers crossed this makes its way to the Boston stores. Lord knows our stores always get the short end of the stick when it comes to the buying process.

And, yeah, Plokhov designing for Lang now? I wonder why I haven't seen/read anything about this yet.

It's out tomorrow. I just showed to my by and one his friend (they are not really the "Fashion" types) but loved everything ...
So we just decided to go in the 5th Av. store on Friday. Hopefully there'll still be some items ...
Are there lines in NYC for Uniqlo collab, anyway ?

the Plokhov stuff is marked down already on the US site.

olympia le-tan for uniqlo
http://us.media.fashionmag.com/

there are not many items to this collaboration which will be out in march. hopefully it will be more than crop tops and t shirts.

the liberty of london collaboration in march might be more promising. however i've only seen tees and tanks of a few of the items. there are 200 items.

Are there any official news that a 2nd season of Lemaire for Uniqlo is indeed happening? A while ago we heard there should have been a re-stocking for Christmas and a 2nd collection for spring, but at least the re-stocking never came to happen.

runner posted pictures of the summer (?) collection in the uniqlo thread..
