And a wealthy family as well.
That's true and goes for many other 'artistic' professions.Originally posted by Versus_1@May 12th, 2004 - 6:44 am
Modelling is all about being in the right place at the right time. It all heavily relys on LUCK!!!
I agree...sometimes it is all about who you meet, know, or who takes you under their wing. That can be one of the best or worst things that happen to a model. It can cause you to be on top of the world one minute and then out of demand the next. Crazy business!Originally posted by Versus_1@May 12th, 2004 - 6:44 am
although she is stunning...it is true the fact that she was discovered by a top designer as being the reason behind her fame.
due to her height, if it wasn't for Karl Lagerfeild, no one may have given her a second look. But once you have made it to the top for being different, everyone wants a peice of you.

To add to what i'm saying....i personally don't think that Lily Cole or Caroline Trentini are much different from the many ordinary looking girls walking the streets, they are both just extremely lucky that they were discovered the way they have been that they are so big now.
so?Originally posted by cournalie_clash@May 12th, 2004 - 5:08 am
