i think the connection between her and natalia v is that maybe they come from the same town in russia. my best friend's family is from nizhni novgorod and they are also tatar like diana. tatars are descended from the mongols and turks - their ethnic roots are very different from the russian majority. some consider themselves to be more asian than european and this also explains why tatars contrast appearance-wise as well.
