I guess, I should have added a smiley or something I wasn't being sarcastic. I really haven't seen nor heard about that many people taking the bike in America. But I certainly don't frown upon it, I take the bike every day to school, and well people bike A LOT in Denmark.

Ah, ok. Biking is definitely not nonexistent in the US, and quite a lot of people in my area bike a lot. I've been seeing even more of it recently, actually, which is very reassuring. I couldn't tell from your comment whether or not you really thought that in this (fairly massive) country, we have no one riding bikes! (Diane is European though---does she count?)

Well, to be honest, I guess I sort of was generalizing. Not to say that I really was so ignorant to really believe that nobody actually bikes in the US, but it's certainly few in comparison to the demographics. At least, that's the impression, I've gotten. Whereas, in DK we bike a lot, lot, all the time. In fact, usually every person in the household owns a bike. But yeah, technically, Diane is from Germany (I believe), so it really isn't that strange to see her using her bike.
