DIANE KRUGER IS L’OREAL’S NEW WORLDWIDE SPOKESPERSON
By Amy Lawrenson | Posted: Mon 07 Dec 2009

Ever since she played Helen of Troy; the woman so beautiful she ‘launched a thousand ships’ - we knew there was something special about Diane Kruger.

Today, L’Oreal has announced that the German-born actress will be joining them as a worldwide spokesperson. Kruger will represent the brand's major innovations in hair care, hair colour and make-up, in particular its latest foundation, Mat’Morphose (launching here in February).

“It’s a great honour and a huge pleasure to become a Spokesperson for L’Oréal Paris. I admire the brand, not only for the quality and innovation of its products, but also because it represents diversity and excellence across the world, values which are very close to my heart. I am, of course, also delighted to be joining the other L’Oréal Paris Spokespeople, an extremely talented, widely-admired group of people”, said Diane.

She will be joining the L’Oreal Paris’ Spokespeople, who include Penelope Cruz, Beyonce Knowles, Frieda Pinto and Cheryl Cole.

How freaking awesome - first Evangeline and now Diane. Two of my faves! I was hoping Diane would become a spokesperson for a beauty company asap. Can't wait to see her ads.

i'm confused, is she the worldwide spokesperson or just for L'oreal Paris?. L'oreal are definitely employing alot of celebrities in recent months ...Elizabeth Banks, Freida Pinto, Evangeline Lilly, Cheryl Cole, Yunjin Kim now Diane

Great news for her though.

^ that's exactly what i though..isn't l'oreal a little bit too mainstream for diane?? :innocent:
btw i'm because i will see her perfect face in every magazine!!

"but also because it represents diversity and excellence across the world, values which are very close to my heart."

is excellence a value?

Interesting, she used to be a Lancome spokeswoman.

Really? I didn't know that. When was this?

I'm not really excited about her becoming the new spokesperson for L'Oreal since they usually photoshop their actresses and models to death.
