L'Oréal pays good money.
I don't think Diane gives a rat's backside about L'Oréal or would touch their products with a ten-foot pole. She's doing it for the money and good for her. It will probably give her the freedom to only do movies she truly believe in, not dumb blockbusters (a bit like Anna Mouglalis and Chanel).

The ads will be rubbish and the commercial cheesy, as usual, but we'll get Cannes pictures every years, so that's good news to me.

I totally agree with Harumi's comments about giving her more free in her movie choices and it also makes her more recognisable to the general public through the TV ads especially.
